From Allison's apartment, it's just a climb of the stairs to get to my own. Turning the key and opening the door, my own quiet apartment seems strangely desolate compared to the lively party downstairs, but at least the smell of the bread still lingers, making it more welcoming. I flip on the lights and hold the door open for Grey. "There's more bread in the kitchen and I can make some tea or something?"

I'm terrible at being a guest but I'm honestly worse at being a host.

There is time for bread and tea in a minute. Grey pulls at Tris before she can get too far, into his arms, into where he can smell just her and kiss just her.

It's what he's wanted to do for an hour now, at least.

I lean back, still surprised by his affection after these few weeks. I close my eyes, enjoying the circle of his arms.

A kiss to her forehead, then Grey holds her, rocking just a little.

The party was nice, but this is nicer.

I don't think I'm very good at being a girlfriend, for all that I've come to crave Grey's affection. When he holds me like this, I feel better, more stable. Desirable even.

When he rocks, I sway back just a little, like we're dancing.

If he could, he would make her feel better, make her realize how beautiful she is, how kind and good. All he can do is make her feel loved. He tries. Kisses are peppered over her face, trying to eke a smile from her.

I tip my head up for the kisses. It's almost funny, how much he towers over me, like a protective fortress. Somehow, that just makes it sweeter, leaning up to cup his cheek for another kiss.

Each kiss adds to the heat in Grey's belly.

They are so alike in their experiences, even in the build of their bodies, height difference aside. Even their personalities are alike.

He nuzzles his mouth against hers, then leans back, not wanting to pressure her.

"Do you still want tea?" I ask, even as I'm nudging back toward him for more kisses. "Or...later?"

Later. When they are naked.

The corner of his mouth quirking, Grey takes Tris's hand and leads her to her bedroom, closing the door behind them both.

In truth, that's the part I like the most, the twining of our fingers. Holding hands feels like a declaration, a refusal to be pulled apart. In the dark, moving by memory, I go and switch on the bedside lamp, suffusing my room with a warm glow.

As he walks toward her, Grey pulls off his sweater, letting it rest on a chair arm. Then he nears her, not rushing, but glancing his fingers up her arms to cup her face again and kiss her.

Again, I lean back into his arms and toe off my boots. Already, with the low back of my dress and thin material of my tights, I feel half bare for him. Shrugging out of the sweater, I let Grey's touch pull it down to expose my shoulders.

She's beautiful. Her sweater gets tossed with his and Grey traces bare skin, too, leaning down to kiss her bare back.

The cool air, the press of his lips, send a shiver up my spine. Fumbling a little, I guide his hands up my back, to the zipper.

His fingers close on the zipper and start to pull it down slowly, tracing his fingertips behind with the skin that's bared.

When it reaches the bottom, he gently urges the material down and away.

I'm hyperaware of his touch, of the heat that furls out under my skin. Relaxing back against him is easy as I step out of the dress that's pooled around me. My underwear, my tights. That's all that sits between us.

and fixed. YEESH.

And Grey's jeans. He toes out of his shoes and socks, too. His arms slide around her, his hands cupping her breasts, pleasing in their weight.

I sigh out and turn around to kiss him, pushing him toward my bed, bending down to kiss his throat.

It makes Grey shiver, that kiss and he sits, then leans back onto the bed, pulling her down over him. Closer, please.

I laugh a little, sliding his hands down to my waist, hooking his fingers into the elastic of my tights. Tilting my head, I kiss him once on the mouth and then his jaw, slowly working back down to his throat.

It feels good. Grey pushes at those tights, pushing them down over her hips, even as he tilts his chin up to give her more room for those kisses.

Feeling bold, I bite down just a little a the juncture of his neck and shoulder, marking him slowly as he strips me down.

Grey's breath catches and his hips hitch up as the bite goes right to his erection. Using his toes, he gets her tights pulled away with a kind of triumph.

There's something about his reaction that makes me shiver too. I feel powerful, but not cruel, never cruel.

I settle myself on his hips, feeling his arousal against the crotch of my panties.

She is powerful. Part of her beauty comes from that power. His hands bracket her hips, but he doesn't try to take control. This it too exciting.
